“I was in charge of recording Nathan Munoz’s prom-posal for Kaitlyn Johnson, so when I saw Alec pass by with the robot, I got confused. It wasn’t until he came in and the sign was raised that I saw my name and I thought, ‘hey, that’s my name! awww.’ I was completely surprised. He drove the robot in the room using controllers. He was the programmer on our robotics team 4545. We met through robotics so he thought it was the perfect way to ask me,” Bui said.

“I was surprised and I said yes. I saw some of my friends in the class that didn’t usually have that class with me [English], so I was a little suspicious that something was up. It was thoughtful of him to incorporate the sport I play into how he asked me,” Johnson said.
Carson Harais (11) & Emily Adams (10)
“I got the idea with a couple of friends brainstorming. My idea was to be behind the curtain while she was in theater class and then the curtains opened and I was behind it. She said yes. I was really excited to see what her reaction was. I decided to ask her this way because she is very involved in theater,” Harais said.
