Red Ribbon Week will take place next week, October 25th through October 29th.
Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug campaign event in the country. The nationally celebrated week was created to make an impact on students, encouraging them to be tobacco, alcohol and drug free. Student Council is asking students to dress up in order to stand up against illegal drug use. Students will be given “Drug Free” wristbands and are asked to dress up on the theme days to support drug prevention. On Friday, students are asked to wear red, the campaign’s signature color.
