Cafeteria offers new breakfast food cart in Dysfunction Junction
September 22, 2015
This year the cafeteria staff added a new way for students to get breakfast on campus. A food cart is set up near dysfunction junction in the morning that offers a wide selection of breakfast food to all students. The food cart will be available every morning for the rest of the school year.
“Every morning I’m down here about 8 a.m. and I leave right after you guys have gone to class, so 8:45 a.m.,” cafeteria employee Stacey Gilman said. “We decided to do this so the kids don’t all have to go up to the cafeteria to eat. The buses come in this way so we just wanted to try to do something for the kids who don’t have time.”
The food cart has been helpful for many students who come to school hungry or thirsty or just want to get a snack that they can hold on to for later in the day.
“I came to school really thirsty one morning so I bought a bottle of water from the food cart,” senior Julianne Glover said. “It was so convenient and I definitely plan on buying food from it if I ever come to school hungry! I think it’s a great new addition to our campus.”
