This past weekend, many students from the Vandegrift band participated at the TMEA Region Auditions. This is the first step to becoming an All-State Musician. VHS tied Westlake for the most students to be represented in the region bands, at 39 students, with another 10 students being named to the district band. In addition, 11 of the 39 students will be advancing to the Area competition in January. The following students earned a chair at the competition:
