Congratulations to the volleyball girls who earned a spot on the All-District team. The entire team was Academic All-District.

Lexi Lopez received District 25-4A Setter of the Year and Bryn Recker was first team All-District and MVP.

“I’m really honored and grateful that my teammates voted me MVP. The whole season was a team effort and I’m grateful that my teammates felt that I helped lead them through the season,” Recker said.

Both Loryn Johnson and Malorie McIver were second team All-District. Rachel Graham, Kerry Szostak, and Emily McShane all received honorable mention.  Hailey Shuster, Taylor Christensen and Rachel Graham received Academic All-State.

“Honorable mention means that I was considered as a finalist for one of the All-District teams. It completely caught me off guard because I honestly wasn’t expecting it, but it was a really good feeling knowing that other coaches felt that I deserved the award,” Szostak said.

Hailey Shuster received the Second To None award.

“I am extremely honored to be selected by my teammates and it makes me feel like they really appreciate what I bring to the team outside of actually playing the sport,” Shuster said.
