It’s that time of the season! Chilly weather, cool mornings, sweaters and hats, all the delicious holiday desserts that anyone could possibly think of. The popular pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin brownies, pumpkin spice latte, and so much more. But, let’s keep it simple and delicious with my grandma’s pumpkin bar recipe.

Recipe:

  • ¾ cup melted butter(salted or unsalted)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Steps:

  • Combine melted butter and eggs into one separate mixture
  • Combine pumpkin, sugar, flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate mixture
  • Combine both mixtures together
  • Pour mixture into a greased baking dish
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

Optional: You can make an easy buttercream icing to put on top if you want to add some extra sweetness.
