By nature, music connects people and creates shared experiences among peers. Throughout the years, music has had a significant impact on teenage life and culture. Whether serving as a study tool, escape from reality, or simply a way to chill out – music continues to be an integral part of our lives.
Singing along to the radio every time I was in the car and being ecstatic every time my favorite songs came on was a huge part of my childhood. The radio used to be my avenue for listening and discovering new music. Nowadays, everyone I know uses a streaming service to connect in the car, including myself. While I do love my carefully curated playlists, I find myself often becoming bored of one playlist and then switching to another just to be bored of that one as well. So, I’ve compiled student music recommendations in case anyone else finds themselves wanting new music to elevate their music taste.
