Starbucks instates a new store policy requiring employees to inscribe positive messages on cups admid several other major chain-wide changes, including an anti-loitering policy, reusable cups, and free refills. “When I first saw the little note I thought I was special. I thought maybe I was the only one who had received it,” junior Hannah Mcrorie said. “I’m always at Starbucks so I thought it was personal, only to come to find out that the workers were forced to write it. It totally took the joy out of it!”
