7 students advance to state from the regional science fair

Seven students advanced from the regional science fair to the state science fair March 24-25 at Texas A&M after first and second place finishes. Junior Caitlin Garrett additionally qualified for the international science fair with her Best of Fair distinction and first place in mathematics. The state fair remains an opportunity to add to the international science fair docket which will be heled in Dallas this year.
