Peanut butter fudge

Fudge is a perfect treat for holidays, get togethers or just taking a spoon and digging right in.

My grandma’s peanut butter fudge recipe is something that I follow every year during the holidays. It’s great for parties – little cubes of fudge that everyone is reaching for. They’re addicting and delicious!

  • 1 ½ sticks margarine
  • 1 (5oz) can evaporated milk
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 (7oz) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

On top of the stove, mix margarine, milk and sugar on medium heat. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly

Continue boiling for five minutes on medium heat or until the candy thermometer reaches 240 degrees, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat.

Stir in peanut butter. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla. Stir until smooth and well blended.

Pour into a lightly greased (use butter) 9×13 pan.

Cool at room temperature.

When cooled, cut into squares.
