A: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America
2. Who all can be in FCCLA?
A: Anyone can be a member of FCCLA but only students who have taken or who have previously taken a Family and Consumer Sciences class can compete on the Regional, State and National level in the Star Events Competitions.
Q: What are some of the things you do in FCCLA?
A: We participate in community service, compete in Star Events and also have social events during the year to get to know each other better.
Q: What do you enjoy most about the club?
A: I enjoy hanging out with the other members and doing something that positively impacts the community.
Q: What is something you might not know about FCCLA if you weren’t in it?
A: We had a team advance to the national level in Star Events this past July. Ashley Heffernan and Jordan Freeze traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to compete and brought home a gold medal.
