1. What is Key Club?
Key Club is an international service and leadership club sponsored by Kiwanis International (a service/leadership organization for professionals in the community).
2. Who all can be in Key Club?
Any VHS student can be in Key Club; each student has a goal of meeting 50 hours of community service in one year.
3. How often does Key Club meet?
Key Club typically meets 1st and 3rdThursdays, but we will meet more often as we get closer to Relay for Life-April 4. This is our biggest community service project at VHS!
4. What are some specific examples of things Key Club has been doing to better our society this year?
Key Club has sponsored the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure-VHS won two awards for Race for the Cure this year: biggest high school team and highest funds raised for a high school team.
5. What is your favorite part about Key Club?
Working with students (that I might not get to see on a daily basis otherwise) who share a passion for community service and watching these students grow their leadership skills while serving the VHS community!
